I have decided to quit my job. It was after long and serious consideration. And this time I am determined to. I will probably clear my driving after i quit, go on holiday to refresh myself and then be back to look for a new job. I know the fresh grads are entering the workforce soon.And since it is the dragon year, i reckon it is harder to find a job. But after I quit this job, I will be able to go to church for sure on sundays. Haha...I can take my baptism class too. It is time to draw closer to God :)

I concluded that the only thing I like about chinese new year is that I get to meet up with all my cousins and relatives. Find out about how each other is getting on, bonding through playing cards, etc. I had a great time yesterday going round visiting houses after houses. We went to the house of my grandma's 2 younger brothers. I remember I used to follow my grandma to visit them whenever I am free. Now that my grandma is no longer around, it's good to kn0w that her 2 brothers are doing well too.
Many things could change in this world but some things can't. That is kinship. I am glad that the relationship between us cousins and relatives are still so good even though our common link is no longer around. And all of us are doing so well :) We should have more of this kind of gathering. I love big families :)

Back from reunion dinner. It wasn't that bad after all cause my grandma did not scold me. She was rather cold towards me though but I am still thankful she din scold me. Saw my cousin and I could not even recognise him!!! Guess it must have been about 7 years I din get to see him cause we always go to our grandma house at different times besides the fact that I only go over to my grandma house during new year eve and the first day each year.
In a few more hours time, it would be the tiger year, which is my year..hahahaha..Happy chinese new year everyone!

It's always time like this where I miss my grandma even more.Chinese New year has always been a great occasion for us. She is like my other mummy. I would yearn to eat reunion dinner with her every year but it was always impossible cause I have to go to my paternal side for dinner :( I am dreading tonight's reunion dinner again as usual. Think most likely I will get scolded cause the last time I went over to my grandma house was last year new year.And the most recent time where she was warded into hospital I din go visit.But I really had no time cause it was near my birthday and i was busy with celebrations. Ok that's pretty much an excuse I must admit cause I could have postponed some to find time to visit her but I just dun want to.But you must also understand that I am totally not close to her at all. Cause of how badly she treats me, I can't bring myself to be nicer to her.And when I say bad, it's really that bad that makes me want to have nothing to do with her. There's totally no bond.

Watched Valentine's day with twin just now. The show had a few twist and turns here and there. The most shocking thing was when a guy announced that he's gay-he's a public figure. I totally gasped. Haha...quite a nice movie to catch :)

Met up with Nat dear and Rou Yi. We went to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning thief before heading to One Caramel for afternoon tea. The tea and cakes were nice!!We chit chatted over delicious cakes and studied a little of Korean. We are planning to go over to Korea next year to further our Korean language at Kyung Hee university. Hopefully our plan would succeed :)Nice tea time at One Caramel today. Would definitely make a trip back soon :D

Town was damn crowded today. Met up with Hui Xian to have dinner and did manicure at Far East. Every single nail parlour was packed to the max and we had to wait for half an hour. Some even turned us down because they are fully booked. Besides there's this chinese new year surcharge. Clara came to find us later on and we went for supper at cine before heading home.
And I am getting a new phone!! Probably Lollipop:) My no 17th phone. Oh well, I change my hp like how some girls change their boyfriend. I think I get sick of things easily and I am fickle minded. Probably should work on that and change that bad characteristic of mine.

"Reunion dinner" with colleagues at Canton-i ion was pretty enjoyable. I had fun chit chatting with them over dinner. We were all laughing so much.Before that I was chilling out with Jamie at starbucks, talking about working life. She was telling me how she could imagine herself working as a medical technologist for the rest of her life. I don't understand how she could imagine but I guess I never will.

The Tea loft-Ion


Went out with clara yesterday. Town was extremely crowded, packed like sardines everywhere.Seems like the recession died down long long ago. Watched "The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus" staring my all time favourite actor Johnny Depp. The movie requires some deep thinking in order to fully understand what's going on but I just love watching movies that make me ponder.I wonder if I were to choose between my secret desires and life, which one would I choose.After the movie, we went to The Tea Loft for supper at Ion. The nice decorations make me feel as if I were in some attas England tea house.
Today was staying home day. Finally no more appointments. I quite enjoy me time once in a while. Watched television and slept the whole day. Lazy Sunday spent slacking at home:)I reckon that if I were to be more homely, I could save a lot of money. I should really try to go out less often. Besides there's this commotion about the stabbing incident in Yishun. And the most recent one took place just across the road opposite my house!Felt so jittery walking home alone at night that day.
Dreading work tomorrow:(
